LAURIE BOWMAN

Laurie Bowman is a highly experienced project assurance, risk and project controls specialist with over 30 years of experience across engineering, infrastructure, government and transformation programs. He is passionate about helping organisations improve project delivery, governance, stakeholder engagement and organisational capability through effective project planning, scheduling and performance management.
Laurie is an advisor and accredited trainer with Synchrony Projects, specialising in project planning, scheduling, quantitative risk analysis, governance, project assurance and project controls. An experienced international trainer and facilitator, he has delivered workshops and certification programs throughout Australia and Asia for government agencies, engineering institutions and major organisations.
Complementing his industry expertise, Laurie currently serves as Director at Large with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Queensland Chapter and previously served on the board of AACE International as the International Director for Australasia and the Pacific Rim. He is also a member of the Standards Australia technical committee for portfolio and project management standards related to project planning, risk and performance management.
