This two-day workshop on AI-Driven Facilities Management is designed to provide participants with a practical understanding of how artificial intelligence is transforming modern FM practices. It bridges traditional facility management with emerging AI-enabled tools and decision-making approaches.
Participants will explore how AI supports key FM functions such as maintenance planning, reporting, energy management, vendor evaluation, and operational efficiency. The programme combines structured learning with case discussions and hands-on activities to ensure real-world application.

Dr. Amila Gamage is an international trainer, academic, consultant, and industry practitioner with over 20 years of experience in construction and facilities management across Singapore, Malaysia, and international projects. She began her career as a civil engineer with a strong focus on contract and project management and has since built extensive expertise in contract administration, dispute resolution, and facilities management consultancy.
She is currently pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and integrates AI concepts into her teaching, research, and professional training. Her current research focuses on the ethical use of AI in business, particularly in decision-making and management applications.
She is also a speaker on AI-related topics at international conferences, where she shares insights on the practical and responsible use of AI in business and infrastructure management.
As an ACLP certified trainer and Assistant Professor, she delivers training in Contract Management, Facilities Management, Project Management and related areas, with a strong emphasis on practical application, case studies, and emerging digital tools including AI-driven solutions.
She holds a PhD in Project Management, an MBA, Master of Law in Business Law, Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons), and a Specialist Diploma in Building Cost Management from BCA Academy, Singapore (Gold Award). She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (MSIArb) and The Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MMIArb), and is recognized as a SAS Eminent Fellow Member (SEFM).
