OVERVIEW

Contracts play a pivotal role in project success, but they come with inherent risks that can disrupt budgets, timelines, and relationships if not managed effectively. Beyond risk management, ensuring optimal contract performance is equally critical to achieving desired project outcomes and maintaining stakeholder trust.

This comprehensive three-day workshop offers a structured approach to both contract risk management and performance management, covering the full contract lifecycle from pre-contract planning to post-award execution and performance evaluation. Participants will explore strategies for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, as well as measuring and enhancing contract performance using key metrics and innovative tools.

Interactive sessions and real-world case studies will provide practical insights into drafting protective clauses, leveraging IT tools, managing claims, and preventing fraud. Participants will also learn how to design performance indicators, conduct audits, and foster a culture of ethics and accountability in contract management.

This workshop is ideal for professionals involved in contract drafting, administration, project management, and performance evaluation. By the end of the course, attendees will be equipped to minimize risks, improve contract performance, and achieve successful project outcomes through actionable strategies and best practices.
