INCREASING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AMIDST PANDEMIC BY LEVERAGING SUPPLY CHAIN 4.0
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
The outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has acted as a massive restraint on the wholesale market in 2020 as supply chain was disrupted due to trade restrictions and consumption declined due to lockdowns imposed by governments globally. The Asia Pacific was the largest region in the global wholesale market, accounting for 51% of the market in 2020. Increasingly organisations are recognising the strategic value that a leading edged industry 4.0 Supply Chain structure can deliver not only in terms of reduced costs and increased customer experience, but crucially in providing the organisation with the competitive edge over their competitors.
This focused 3 half days masterclass leads delegates through the full end to end Supply Chain, from inbound logistics through to outbound dispatch and introduces delegates to the range of industries 4.0 technologies being utilised globally for each aspect of the Supply Chain.
Supply Chain Management (SCM), which manages the flow of goods and services, involves the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. As manufacturers evolve toward smart factories where efficiency rules, the fourth industrial revolution recognizes the shift in the supply chain to strategic supply chain management.
This course expands the boundaries of understanding on Industry 4.0 and the development of the supply chain in an organisation’s success. Participants will be introduced to the dynamics of the industry evolutions and how strategic supply chain management has a vital role to play.
